5 years ago story

So 5 years ago my dad Brock his leg and I hurt my rust and I still have a big scare and my dad has a scare and his looks like a L and mine is just a line but I am fine and the same as him but I hope you like it here it is.





When I was at my dads rugby game it was like 5 years ago it was funny and sad at the same time but I cut myself buy making pompoms so me and my sister Paige could chere for our dad but on that same day our dad broke his leg his leg looked like a S he had to had heaps of plats in his leg trust me a lot. So my nana kay she had to take us to her house because dad was on his way to the hospital in that ablits of cos. So we had to stay there for 2 night but it is so fun there because we do baking shhh dont tell my dad but my nana kay is a nice kook hope my dad doesn't see this at all.

This term I have been learning about chemical reasons in the kitchen

A chemical reaction is A thing that you can't change.

I found it challenging when I first started because I don't know how to bake.

Diary of the wimpy kid The last straw

This week we went to the Library and I picked out a book it is called Diary of the wimpy kid The last straw so I am going to read two pages and the pages are pages 100 and 101 I hope you like it.



After dinner mum told me there was a valentine's card out in the mailbox with my name on it. When I asked her who it was from, she just said, 'someone special'. I ran out to the mailbox and got the card, and I have to admit I was pretty excited. I was hoping it was from Holly, but there are at least four or five other girls at my school who I wouldn't mind getting a card from, either. The card was in a big pink envelope with my name written in cursive. I ripped it open, and here's what I found: a sheet of construction paper with a piece of candy taped to it, and it was from ROWLEY. Sometimes I just don't know about that boy.

The other  day dad found manny's blanket, Tingy, on the couch. I don't think dad knew what it was, so he threw it away.




Ever since then Manny's been turning the house upside down looking for his blanket, and finally Dad had to tell him that he accidentally threw it out. Well, Manny got his revenge yesterday by using Dad's civil war battlefield as a playset.

This week in writing we have been leaning to writing slam poems this week I am doing winter. This is my work.

Rain comes down hard and cold from the dark grey clouds.

It drenches my clothes,making me soggy and wet and freezing cold.

Freezing like Antarctic ice.

When it rains it is freezing.

While it  rains I stay inside.

As I go inside from the cold I sit in front of the fire.

After, when the snows goes away I am sad because I love snow.

Before when I go outside I need to put heaps of warm clothes on me.

Sometimes when it is cold I have a scrumptious hot chocolate.

I love snow, but I don't like the cold.

In reading I have been leaning how to predict. I use my prior knowledge and clues from the picture or the text to predict. I  had to use my prior knowledge about being alone in the forest and clues from the picture to predict what would happen next.

Clues From the Picture The monster is 3 times bigger than the girl. The monster looks like a stuffed teddy bear. The monster is fluffy,has 3 eyes,2 horns,the monster does not  look scary at all.the little girl is skipping,whistling or singing. The monster is trying to hide behind the tree.

My Prediction… What will happen next? The girl will see the monster and ask the monster if it wants to play with her or come back where she came from. She was not scared of the monster.

Softball

I love Softball.
Been playing since I was 3.
I am the Pitcher

Everyday with my dad and my sister Emily we all practicals.
On Saturday my game is at 9:00 my sisters game is at 12:30 then my dads game is at 1:00.

My friends in softball some of them come to this school there names are Hannah, Lalya- Rose..
When it is time for me to go up and bat whenever I bat I’m here.
BANG!BOOM!

That bat hits that ball then I run to first base and I see people staring at me on the felt.
I feel like I am the boss of the game no one can stop me.
So times I smell mud or food what people that are on the sideline so yummy.

I am definatly playing softball next year.I can't wait to play.

Camping Trip

“I guess this is what the wilderness feels like.” John said to himself. Standing there
in the woods, he couldn’t believe he had agreed to go on a camping trip with his cousins.
He’d always been scared of new experiences.

John noticed that his cousins were unpacking the camping gear while his Uncle Jim was setting up the tent.
Suddenly, John felt a little bad about not helping. “Hey, Uncle Jim, what can I do to help?” he asked, trying to
sound confident.

“Why don’t you gather some firewood?”Uncle Jim answered.

“Um, sure” John replied. “Where do they keep it?”

Uncle Jim gave John a curious look. “We are in the woods John, just look around for some
clean and dry wood.”
