Miss Birtch Story

A hill with trees and grass on top of the hill and some houses on the bottom. Some small and big boats on top of the nice blue clean water. Some rocks look like sand from far away and in the water you can see some light water at the front and at the back it's dark. There is this girl called Kalea and she has a dog that she took on her dad's boat and the dog jumped off the boat and swam back to the island because the dog was to scared of the water.

Kalea has long blonde hair. She lives on a boat with her dad and her dog. Kalea always wanted to go for a swim but she had no one to go with but then her dad said that she could take her dog with her so she tock her do with her and had a nice swim with her dog.

But then kalea's dog started to splash her even though she didn't want to get wet and she go to angry and took the dog back home and come back but she doesn't want to go alone so she tied to take her dad but he didn't want to so kalea go all upset and started to cry because she's never been down there before and she wanted to explore everywhere down there so then she didn't end up going.

After that her friend called Nici moved down the street for her so she asked Nici if she wanted to go down to the water with her. Then Nici said sure but do you have some togs that I could wear because all my stuff is in boxes. "Sure" so then they walked back down to Kalea's house so Nici could put some togs on. After that they went down to the beach but it was to dark so they had to go back home. But then Kalea asked her dad if Nici could go over tonight and he said sure so then they had an amazing sleepover together.

Lorde is a famous singer. Her real name is Ella Marija Lani Yelich-O'Connor. She's 23 year old. She made a song called Royals it was the most poplar song that she made. Lorde is a from New Zealand. When did Lorde start singing? When she was 13 in 2013. She was born on the 7 November 1996. How much awards does Lorde won? International Artist in 2017 and International Artist in 2013 for Royals. My Favourite song that she relisted is Green Light Because it's really catchy and it's really fun to sing along to and dance to.

400 Words

After school i'm going to spend time with my mum because she might be moving to Australia this weekend so I'm going to spend a lot of time with her. I'm Probably going to go shopping with her for new school shoes because I have hole's on the bottom of my shoes so that's one of the things I think we might be getting. And we will just sit in the mall and get some Ice Cream or something like that. I just really want to spend time with her because I haven't spend that much time with her because there has been some things happening with my family. And Because it was my baby sister birthday on the 2 of November and my dad didn't let me spend the day with her so that is another reason why I want to go out and do things what I use to do with her. My dad won't let me see her that much I don't know why but he won't let me and I'm really sad about that. Everyday after school i'm always exited to see her but sometimes she's not there and I always say to myself "has she gone?" And I always start crying because sometimes when I call her she doesn't answer. I think I might write her a letter for her and that will make me better. But I don't want her to go because I won't be able to see her that much because she's going to Perth and that's way to expensive for my dad to pay for me to go over there to see her. It's $1,238 dollars to go over there. If you think I should write a letter for my mum just comment but you need to comment before this weekend. But when my mum leaves my friends will help me there names are Kalea,Nici,Tehya,Tahnesha,Isaac,Hunter and Hayley. They help me get thorough a lot of things and my family and Other people's friends. I just really hope I don't cry in class a lot but I think my mum and dad told my teacher the reasons why I might be crying a lot. And I really want Mrs Allan to let me go outside and have some fresh air or something like that.

I want to know how to play rugby more I know its like P.E but its not because at Hornby High we don't play rugby. I want to learn how to play because I feel like I'm really bad at it and I want to get better. And I want to be like Sam Whitelock. A lock in the game. And he's really good at passing the ball and getting life up in the line out. But he needs to trust the guys that lift him up and try and catch the ball at the same time. If I get better I could go all over the world and play rugby every Saturday like what the All Blacks do.

My dream holiday place

My dream holiday is going to Perth because I have a lot of family over there. Here is a photo of Perth.

The reason why I want to go to Perth is because I have family. but I did see them last year.about 2 months ago my uncle Po and new aunty Lindsey got married and I hope I can go and see them in the chrismas holidays as I haven't seen them in a long time. And another reason why I want to go is because so I can go to the them parks because they look really fun. And because I really want to see the Elephants because they are my favourite animal.

This week in P.E the group got to make up a game. With everything what the teachers gave us. My group we made up this game so we had 2 netball hops, 2 halo hops, 2 tennis rackets and your team. The rules are you can step you can only through over arm. and that basically it. It's just like netball. What went well? That everyone in the team got involved and no one was complaining. That I can get more invited and I feel like I have never enjoyed a game like how I don't like the together ones.

Pancake wars

Today in P.E we played Pancake wars. First we go spited up into 2 groups My class vs Wh and before that we had a game of Kick long ball. Me and my friend got spited up because they where following me and I knew that we would so I keep of walking away. But anyways In The Pancake war I was the blue team and the other team was normal and then we played but here is my work and I hope you enjoy it.

Last week my music class went down to the music room and we got to play some instruments. Ella West

On Monday Ella West came to school. So how did she come well it stared because one of our reading groups are reading Rain fall and they posted stuff about it on there blog then one of the people in the group her name is called Skyler and she posed it first then the day after Ella West Commented I don't know what she said but that's ok. If you read rain fall do you remember the dog called Jim did you know he is a real dog it was Ella's dog he did 15 years ago but now she has a new dog called Ruby. So we asked in she needed space when she needs to write and she doesn't need quit-Nothing distracts her. Did you know that she 1000 words a day! and she writes 5000 words in a book!. Did you know night vision won awards. She coped the cover of night vision. 

So now I am going to put some photos of us and her.

Maori

In Maori, we were learning about a story called Poutini and Waitaiki. And I chose one of the characters and wrote from their point of view.

I miss my husband I got taken by this creature and it has taken me someplace that I don't know. I don't have any way to get in touch with any of my family or husband. I was bathing in the pond or you might call it the river. I told my husband that I would be back by 12:00 but it is now 4:00 pm and I'm not home yet, he is probably worried sick. I hope this is all fake because I don’t want to be here much longer I hope this is all a setup. If you are wondering what my name is, it is Waitaiki and my husband's name is Tamaahua and he is really sweet, oh geez i have to stop writing because the creature is coming. Okay, it has left now i can write again. I’m still scared and I want to leave.

Trash- Andy Mulligan

Hello Today we finish the book that we started in term 2. As I was saying we finished it today and now I will tell you some stuff about the story and I will put up a video.

We read it in period 3 Yesterday.

So the story is called Trash by Andy Molligan. And the people in the story are called
Rat-Junjun,Behala,,Pai Dante,Jose'Ange,

So the story is about these 3 boys and they work at a dump and they clean up trash and they found a bag and inside of it was A Woolite full of money and a key. then they walk to there house and they hided because the police where looking for them because they found the bag. And the bag was for this rich guy and he said he was going to give the money to her daughter and then they where looking for her. Then they found her grave stone and they dug up her grave and when they dug it up they opened the coffin and then they found a lot of money and they where like where is she then she came out of no where and she was a little she didn't die she was right in front of them. Over the fence they sore a tree hut and they where like where do you live little girl and she showed them the tree hut and they said where is it and she said its up there and they where like are you sure and she said yes.

Ok so that was a little bit about the story and now I am going to tell you have I liked it and how I didn't like it.

So I really liked it because it was really cool because they found money and they where finding clues around places. And the thing that I did not like about is that they had to pick up rubbish as there job even little kids do it like 2 years old and over that why I didn't like it because that is really sad.

Hey everyone today and last week we have been working outside for Tane Mahuta and I have been working on the outdoor classroom and the ground out of the other side where we are going to be making gardens. 

The first week I was working on the ground where we are going to put the garden and took the tarpaulins of the ground then this week I was working on the outdoor classroom. Today I was in the classroom and I had to lift a lot of things some were heavy some we not. Also, make sure t0 not hurt yourself with stinging nettle because it hurt really bad. 

Our final goal is to get the classroom done and have another garden outside the classroom.
