Questioning

In reading we are learning to be good readers. To be a good reader you ask questions before, during and after you read something. We are leaning to ask different types of questions. They are Think & search,Author and me,Right there Questions. This week we looked at a photo. As a group we have to come up with some questions about this photo.

I think they are runny from a war that is just happening right now 

Diary of the wimpy kid The last straw

This week we went to the Library and I picked out a book it is called Diary of the wimpy kid The last straw so I am going to read two pages and the pages are pages 100 and 101 I hope you like it.



After dinner mum told me there was a valentine's card out in the mailbox with my name on it. When I asked her who it was from, she just said, 'someone special'. I ran out to the mailbox and got the card, and I have to admit I was pretty excited. I was hoping it was from Holly, but there are at least four or five other girls at my school who I wouldn't mind getting a card from, either. The card was in a big pink envelope with my name written in cursive. I ripped it open, and here's what I found: a sheet of construction paper with a piece of candy taped to it, and it was from ROWLEY. Sometimes I just don't know about that boy.

The other  day dad found manny's blanket, Tingy, on the couch. I don't think dad knew what it was, so he threw it away.




Ever since then Manny's been turning the house upside down looking for his blanket, and finally Dad had to tell him that he accidentally threw it out. Well, Manny got his revenge yesterday by using Dad's civil war battlefield as a playset.

My monster

This week we have been Reading about this monster book and we had to make our own disgusting monster this is it I hope you like it.

My monster has nits on her head.

My monster has heaps of scabs all over her.

My monster has bumps on the side of her head are bunched up bugs.

My monster has boogers coming out of her nose and she eats it.

My monster has heaps of scratches all over her because she has super long nails.

My monster has long nails and under the nails is mud and dirt and how would now what is under there.

My monster has heaps of hair all over her body.

My monster has heaps of spider webs under her arms and spiders.

My monster has a big smiley and sharp teeth.

Tree Art

For the last couple of weeks we have been doing this tree are thing. Mrs Jack drew heeps of the trees. We had to use  pesto and a toothpick to scorch some patine on the seasides. This is my work I hope you like it.
