Aim: To learn about a saturated solution and how to make crystals



Borax Crystals

Materials

1) 2 teaspoons borax
2) 1 cup of hot water
3) Paper
4) Spoon
5) Cup
6) 3 Pipe Cleaners
7) Pegs

Process

Step 1: Get 2 Tea Spoons Of Borax And Add It To A Cup
Step 2: Add A Cup Of Hot Water And Pore It into the cup with the borax in it  
Step 3: Mix The Borax And The Hot Water Until They Have Dissolved  
Step 4: Get 3 Pipe cleaners And Make Them To A Star
Step 5: Get 1 Peg And Put The Star In The Borax and water
Step 6: Leave it for 2 days
Step 7: You Now Have Borax Crystals

Sugar Crystals

Grow your own Sugar Crystals

Materials

1) 2 Teaspoons Of Sugar
2) 1 Cup Of Hot Water
3) 1 Brown Pipe Cleaner
4) 1 Peg
5) 1 Spoon
6) 1 cup

Process

Step 1:Get 2 Teaspoons Of Sugar And Add It To A Cup
Step 2: Add 1 Cup Of Hot Water To The Cup With The Sugar
Step 3: Mix The Sugar And and hot water until it has dissolved
Step 4: Get 1  brown Pipe Cleaner And A Peg And Put The Pipe Cleaner In The Peg
Step 5: Put The Pipe Cleaner In The Water With Sugar
Step 6: Leave For 2 Days
Step 7: You Now Have Sugar Crystals


Salt Crystals

Materials

1) 2 Teaspoons Of Salt
2) 1 Pipe Cleaner
3) 1 Peg
4) Hot Water
5) 1 Spoon
6) 1 Cup

Process

Step 1: Get 2 Teaspoons Of Salt And Put It In A Cup
Step 2: Add Hot Water it the cup with the salt in it
Step 3: Mix The Water And Salt Until It Has Dissolved
Step 4:  Put The Pipe Cleaner In A Peg
Step 5: Put The Pipe Cleaner And Peg In The Cup
Step 6: Leave For 2 Days
Step 7: You Now Have Salt Crystals
