Cleaning our school

Today we where cleaning our school by picking up rubbish and I did not pick up a lot because I was not fast enough. We could only be in a group of 2 and my and my old friend Tehya. So we both whet to the little garden and we both filled one of our bags up with rubbish then the season one we did not but we did fill it up hafe way but we still did good but for one of the bags Tehya found all the rubbish then for the season one and I did not get that much rubbish because by then it was all gone but we did not have that much fun at first it is because we did not wont to touch the mud and dirt but at the end we where fine.

For Science Today We Are Making Scones. In my group we all made one scone each I made the no butter scone. I hope you enjoy what I am going to tell you 

Aim: To look at different kitchen ingredients in scones and their effects.

Recipe:

• 1/2 cup Edmonds standard flour
• 1 tsp Edmonds baking powder  or 1 tsp baking soda                                                     
• 2 tsp butter
• 1/4 cup milk, approximately or 1/4 cup lemonade

Materials:

1. Bowl 

2. Milk

3. Plate 

4.Flour

5.Sugar 

6.Spoon

Process 

Step 1: Get Half A Cup Of Flour

Step 2: Get One Teaspoon Of Sugar

Step 3: Mix The Two Ingredients 

Step 4: Add A Cup Of Milk 

Step 5: Mix The Milk Into The Ingredients 

Step 6: Take The Ingredients Out Of The Bowl And Shape It

Findings:

conclusion: All Scones Were Cooked For 10 Mins. All Scones Were Cooked at 200 Celsius.
The Normal Were Golden And Sweet But very hard to brake into
The no butter was white and sandy but Amazing
The With Baking Soda Was Tan And Dry On The Out Side But Soft On The Inside

Tane Mahuta

I am part of the Tane Mahuta group our job is to make the world around our school better.

Today we walked around our hole school to see what we can put some of new things because the old class rooms will go next year so all of the kids are thinking about what we could put in all of the big space.

And in my group I have Nici,Tehya,Roxy.

And My favourite area of the school is the field because there is a lot of space for people to take to there friends.

My best idea to improve our school is The tire swings on the trees that are in the middle.

Today In Science We Are Making clean water.

No Not for the tap if that is what you are thinking. We make a Filter to make The dirty water clean water.

And i Hope you like it.

Materials

1. Drink Bottle 

2. Rocks

3.  Dirty Walter 

4.  Filter paper

5. Coffe filter 

6. Oil

7. Bark 

8. Dirt

Process - ( use verbs or doing words in each step )

Step 1

Cut a bottle in to a half 

Step 2

You put a filter paper and you shape it like a cone.

STEP 3

You put the sand inside of the filter paper 

STEP 4

Then you place the rocks on top of the sand

STEP 5

To put the dirty Walter on the top
