ANZAC Biscuits

ANZAC Biscuits



This week we have been learning about ANZAC today we make ANZAC biscuits. Made of Sugar,flour,rolled oats,golden syrup,butter-no eggs so they do not go off. 1921-first recipe in a cook book. Mums,wives and children made the biscuits. Some were sent to soldiers and most of them were sold at fetes to get raise money for the war. The raised 6.5 million pounds for the for the New Zealand war effort.
